Hi!

My name is Annie Harlow, the owner of SC Dance. We were founded in 1989 by my mentor and lifelong instructor, Shannon Crites, on the simple principle that we have stayed true to since our inception - provide quality dance instruction in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where dancers of all ages and abilities are free to grow and explore.

As a More Than Just Great Dancing!® affiliated studio, we subscribe to a higher standard of dance instruction and management principles. This is our commitment to providing MORE than excellent dance instruction. We go beyond teaching our dancers technique to develop important life skills, learning to be respectful, confident and conscientious young people who share their gifts and talents with the community.

Our teaching staff

At SC Dance, our dance instructors are chosen with great care. All of our class leaders are experienced and accomplished, both as instructors and as dancers. We have regular staff meetings where we discuss curriculum and teaching methods.

Teachers also monitor and discuss students’ progress across each of the disciplines to make sure that each student is performing to the best of his or her ability. Our staff strives to give each student the individual attention and instruction he or she needs to reach their potential, plus they bring a unique perspective, personality, and skill set to the classroom environment in Ardmore, OK.
